The Ex Faces (of Mushroomhead)
Everclear, one of the leading alternative rock bands to emerge from the ‘90s, The Ex-Faces consists entirely of Ex-members from the masked-metal band
Mushroomhead. Having recently reunited to deliver live shows that pay tribute to the eras they belonged to. Playing the classics fans love and also tapping into the back catalog of songs that have never been played live before, giving fans new and old a way to take a trip back to the earlier eras.
The Lineup
Jason “J Mann” Popson – Vocals
Waylon Reavis – Vocals
Dave “Gravy” Felton – Guitar
Daniel “Lil Dan” Fox – Drums
Richard “Stitch” Thomas – Samples
Joe “Murdernickel” Kilcoyne – Bass
Jack “Pig Benis” Kilcoyne – Bass {select shows only}
The Ex-Faces isn’t just a project, it is a crew composed of those that helped build an
empire, like-minded individuals that together are paying tribute to an era that is in high demand amongst fans all over the world. This lineup reunites the voices, the riffs and the chaos that defined an era of masks and mayhem! A dual-vocal assault from Waylon Reavis and J Mann, the band bridges the gap between haunting melody and pure rage. The percussive powerhouse of Lil Dan on the drums, the punishing rhythm section of bass player Mr. Murdernickel and Pig Benis, {Pig Benis on select shows only} to the sickly surgical guitar work from Gravy, followed by the textural audio provided by Stitch. This band is a reminder that after you dust off the masks, the madness still remains! This isn’t just a tribute act, it’s an evolution and a statement bringing together decades of touring chemistry to create something leaner, meaner and more focused than ever before.
The faces may be “Ex” but our impact is forever.
